Universal Technologies was launched in 2005. As a team of engineers, we recognised that clients needed more than what the marketplace was offering. With legacy systems needing replacement, and in house IT teams dwindling, clients were coming at us with questions about how to make the most of the technology available.
Instead of being a sales team, which we’d seen a great deal of in the industry, so we decided to evolve, becoming an end to end ICT and communications consultancy. We understand and work with the very latest cutting edge technology, we match it with our clients’ needs. It’s that simple.
By understanding the ICT market in the way we do we’re able to move away from just sourcing products for clients and instead expanding into consultancy, project management and installation services, supporting our clients through ICT projects.

We have built a team of specialists. We like to say we’re engineers, not salesman. From server deployments and solutions through to network infrastructure and communications we have a broad base of skills meaning we can match the right engineer to the right project.
For education clients, each of our engineers and staff are DBS cleared and have experience working in both primary and secondary schools.
